No Nne (mum) I'm in a haste now I said with a frown
Hmm!! You are really looking beautiful this evening.

Thanks mum, see you later. I opened the door to leave but was stopped by her.

Wait!! I'm not done with you, so where are you up too?

Mum I have a date with a friend.

ha! Ha! She laughed and clapped her hands before continuing her speech. I'm really happy for you ooo!!! Hope this date turns out well, I want grandchildren soon.

Ha Nne!! Take it easy with this marriage of a thing, take care of you I slammed the door. I could hear her shout " don't come back here without an engagement ring" what she said didn't give me a thought, what's on my mind is Melvin.

I got down from the cab and walked into the bar, Melvin was‎ seated with a bottle of wine at a very secluded and beautiful spot of the bar it felt private away. I walked towards him I
could see the smile on his face as I approached him.

You look so beautiful oma!! he said as he took my hand and rested a kiss on it

Thanks Melvin, I smiled while looking into his eyes as he pulled out a sit for me, what a gentle man I said to myself

So what would you like to take?

A bottle of Teezers and a plate of fried meat I said, a waiter took our orders and soon he was back with them. We had a long conservation and he kept beating around the bush, that's not what I needed he should just hit the nail on the wall. It's was already 8:00pm and we decided to leave the bar. while taking a walk to Melvin's car, he held my hands and we paused the movement, he stood in front of me and we kept staring at each other.

Oma!!! I love you so much he said as he moved his hands slowly to my waist and gradually his lips came closer to mine, my breath started escalating out of fear and excitement. Finally he closed in and I could feel my heart jump as we kissed passionately, at that moment it felt like I was in another planet kissing him for the first time. After the kiss we finally separated and my lips slightly parted, I had no sign of regret.

Ooo!!! I'm really sorry for that, I shouldn't have done that, but oma would you be my girlfriend and the one who would be my bride soon.

I was speechless, I wanted this from the start. I quickly gave him and answer "yes". We kissed again I was so happy finally I found love again and I know this is going to be forever. Being Melvin's wife is going to be lovely, the whole night I kept thinking of everything. I called Morenike and broke the news to her, she was happy with me and also Amara.
