Why Isn't God responding?

Andre always got anything she needed from her billionaire father as a kid. While growing up she would always request for things a kid would need and her father would give her and when he answers her request, he would tell her " I give you anything you want, but always study hard, be a good girl and well behaved.  you know I look up too you to help build our family reputation when am gone". Yes dad Andre would reply with excitement that her request is answered.

Time passed, and Andre is no longer the little girl she was, she was a big girl who knew wrong and right, but at  Andre's age she was below her father's expectation. Her academic performance was poor, character nothing to talk about, and so many bad behaviours.

On a good day Andre came to her generous father asking he buys her a car. That wasn't the first time she asked of a car, she has done that several times but her father didn't respond. She felt bad and decided to confront her dad for not responding to her request like he always does. " Andre I
 have watched you grow, I  gave  you anything you asked as child but now you grown and you have failed  to answer my request " her father said. " dad what's your request" she curiously asked. " you have behaved below my expectation, you have given deaf ears to all have been teaching you right from when your were a baby, so till you come back and set things right you won't  get anything from me" her father
concluded.

Moral lesson : when we were kids what ever we asked from God he does it and growing up we heard his word from the church, parents e.t.c.  Now we've all grown up, have you ever prayed and it's as if God isn't listening, you ask yourself why Isn't God responding?  your requests are not answered. Just like Andre's father, God hasn't answered because we refused to hacking to his own request, the Holy Book says in;

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

 We need to seek him first by hacking to his request, loving him as he loves us, his words and many more, when we do this everything we ask would be given to us cause God is alive and never fails. Happy Sunday and have a blessed week ahead. God bless you
