Not less than 90 dead in Ghana explosion and flooding

Not less than 90 people have died in Accra, the capital of Ghana due to an explosion that occurred today at a petrol station.  According to Al Jazeera, most of the victims had sought shelter at the station due to heavy rain which caused flooding..

Prince Billy Anaglate a spokesman for Ghana's national fire service said; about a dozen people were taken to the hospital after the blast.

Al Jazeera correspondent, Boateng also said that, “This is a very busy area of Accra. Lots of people, lots of car traffic, and because of the heavy rains people gathered at this gas station to seek shelter and this explosion happened,” he said, stating reasons why many where trapped in the fire. clic kto see heartbreaking photos below:
